Bloco represents samba groups in Rio de Janeiro that have freedom with their creations. It also represents block parties – communities coming together and having fun.
Jam represents either musicians or people coming together, relaxing and creating.
Bloco Jam crossing both Portuguese and English represents this synthesis of common aspirations. To create communally fun spaces and places not only where good music occurs but where places of new music and ideas can occur also.
